Hi CF, not Im not sure of the technical category of Effexor. Ya know, I was over at my moms house and was looking at a medical pill book she has, published date was 1995, and it lists the kinds of side effects and cautions and withdraw cautions, etc in it. Looks like the info was there maybe not everywhere, but it was out there, 9-10 years ago it was published! You keep your head up, pray & trust God, and you'll be ok. I believe strongly in medication mixed with counseling not just taking medication. I hope you are getting that kind of support too. God Bless, Renee.
