Buspar was the first med I tried to specifically target my anxiety symptoms - as in: after failed AD trials, but had yet to be placed on any benzo. My anxiety symptoms run in a wide range of GAD, panic attacks, agoraphobia, ruminations... pretty much you name it. I found Buspar **extremely** ineffective. I have since known folks in the "real world" who found it did nothing for them. I can only recall a few here who have posted any good results on it and I don't recall if that was it's use in montherapy or combo.
I often wonder who is getting relief from this med - I assume there must be some as it's still heavy in the psych market.
