Hello All,
First of all, thank you for sharing your stories and experiences, you can't imagine how all these was very helpful!
My story starts with Paxil for a year, then after some troubling withdrawal symptoms, I was successful to tapper it off and finaly got rid of Paxil.
Talk about Effexor, it really worked for me with the highest dose of 150mg. However, now after one year on Effexor and I feel a lot better. I feel again the person I used to be, so I decided to get rid of it. I have been withdrawing from it for almost 3 months. But this past week that I have been completely without Effexor, Ooh boy! I suffer a lot, and my main problem is lack of coordination and overclouded brain (like there's a vice squeezing a part of my brain that I can't think clearly. In addition, I have anxieties that arise from my lack of knowledge of the Effexor withdrawal symptoms.
Thanks to your postings, I learned a lot from you and reduced my anxieties and understood the withrdrawal symptoms of Effexor. Today, after I couldn't work no longer that I felt my brain was freezing, I went to the doctor and she prescribed me on my request and her approval Neurontin (Gabapentin)300Mg. I feel the anxieties are getting reduced and the brain cloudiness is getting a lot better. And I wanted to share with you that Neurontin is one of the oldest drugs that have very few side effects, in fact it has a lot of praises written somewhere! But I think we know now better not to swallow happily those pills whatever they are good for.
Exercise, exercise, and exercise helps a lot with my withdrawal symptoms.
But to this moment, I feel that Effexor helped me a lot, but now begging to leave me alone.
Love you all and wish you the best of health.
Skenn
