I'm taking Wellbutrin, and it's very helpful for me. When I was first on it, it was the regular Wellbutrin, at 75mg per day combined with Prozac 10mg per day. That was a bit too anxiety producing for me, and the doctor who saw me after my release from hospital took me off the Wellbutrin right away. (MISTAKE!)
Now I take it with Cymbalta 60mg, and Provigil 100mg, and it's the XL formulation at 150mg. For a short time, I was on 300mg, but wanted to take the lowest doses that were effective.
Wellbutrin took about three days to turn non-response to the Cymbalta into full remission of depression for the first time in a couple of years. That great response has fluctuated since, but that's actually OK by me. I'd rather have the whole gamut of emotions to work with than only the one or two that I can experience with other drugs in my system.
Good luck with it.
