Strattera is an odd drug. I took it for awhile-maybe 2 1/2 months. Here is how it worked for me-
The first few days I took it at night and it made me sleep like a rock but I awakened early and did ok.
We upped the dose about every 4-5 days. When I got in abou the 40mg range to 60mg it was great. Total motivation and energy. Incredible focus!
this lasted about 2 weeks. Then it settled down and I felt calm focused and awake. I was patient and just felt....I guess even and normal.Then I just could not fingure out the proper amount to take. More-less. I tried it all. I ended feeling like I could just sit in one place and stare at the wall-I was too calm. But not tired.
When you up the dose expect that it will make you tired at first. This usually passed and strangely enough will become energizing.
I wish I could have figured it out because when it worked it worked great!
