I have been having disturbing periods during the night where i feel as if im being murdered by an unknown presense in the room. I thought they were nightmares.
My pdoc has told me these are night terrors, but only usally happen with children.

Night terror differ from nightmares becuase of sleep paralysis, i'm waken but cannot move and disturbing images haunt me for the period of time until i can get my toes or fingers moving.
Please tell me if somekind of medication can stop this.
