Buspar is a nonsedating antianxiety med that takes a few months to produce an effect.

I don't know it to have sleep inducing qualities.

I would personally say go with the trazedone.
This is a sedating AD that is often used in low doses for sleep. Ambien will work, but a tollerance may develop over time.
