What about setting an alarm and getting up early every morning (8am?) for a week or so?? Makes sense that your sleep wouldn't be restorative if you sleep all day. Human beings weren't meant to sleep the day away. If you are in bed all day and you don't get and exercise and you don't get any sunlight, it makes perfect sense that you won't sleep well and it also is something that contributes to depression.
Also, physical activity is very important and a nice jog would tire you out and give you a good nights sleep.
Trying to put yourself on a regular schedule and getting some exercise are certainly things to try before going the medication route.
