NMDA antagonists WHO CAN HELP ??

Of all the drugs I cannot figure out, NMDA antagonists are among the foremost.

For starters I keep reading that NMDA angagonists are notorious for causing psychosis. But lithium, has antipsychotic properties and is a potent NMDA antagonist.

The other issue refers to neuroprotection. Some sources say that NMDA antagonists are neuroprotective, but then other sources say they are neurotoxic ie:
