Yeah, I'm not sure how that could even be possible considering that it is a substance that your body has anyway.

Did he say this because you had some particular reaction to Melatonin, or did he say it b/c he was trying to persuade you to take something (like Ambien) that requires a prescription? Doctors tend to be the most ignorant people around when it comes to treatments, like melatonin, that do not require a prescription.
