No apology necessary, I take no offense, agree completely with you.
Today, with benefit of hindsight and a year of study and reading all these threads I wholeheartedly agree, 600 mgs. of effexor xr is ridiculous as is the 90 mgs of remeron soltab that her shrink prescribed, understand that 30 mgs is often max sometimes 45 mg.
What I believe is criminal is that this same doctor said she was also schooled in neurology and would treat wife's epilepsy and manage her medications. My wife continued to have clonic and grand mal seizures up to the time she died.
All the stuff that I read says that if someone has a seizure history or should develop seizures you get them off the stuff.
It's been almost a year since attorney's requested medical records and began sending them off for review, to date a psychiatrist and a neurologist have agreed to testify, am awaiting a report from a pharmacologist that the medicines she was given brought on the fatal seizure that killed her.
I have been lurking about here trying to educate myself for a year, until the experts have chimed in I have no closure and leaves me full of wonder, the matter of her death at an early age from a seizure disorder leaves a big question mark, I value everybody's comments.
