Effexor affecting hormones:

I have been on Effexor a year now, and my period has gotten worse and worse. My mood is really extreme and so are my cramps. I really suffer now every month. It was never like this before.

I have heard that some anti-deppresants can impact your prolactin levels (the same ones that are released when you breastfeed!)and I am concerned that Effexor may be impacting my hormones.

Anyone know about this? I know effexor can be used to treat PMS, but for some people SSRI's can impact hormones so send me an email if you have heard of this.
