I just found this video-clip that discusses the relationships between serotonin, norepinephrine, and depression. It describes a "cycling" that occurs in the brain, in which the neurotransmitters are used up too quickly (atleast I think this is what it was saying, I might be confused).
I thought it was interesting because I had never heard of this "cycling" described before. So if anyone else is interested:
