20 mg is considered a high dose for zyprexa. I take 10 mg. The drug will make you dizzy if you stand up too quick. Which also can be a sign of taking too much. It takes a while to get use to. Normaly the drug will make you sedated, tired, but in full control. 5 mg is considered to be a good starting dose in women, 10 mg for men. I would not be suprised if 2.5 mg works better for you, they have a 2.5 mg pill, you can also safely cut the pill in half.
