Since you say the weight feels "wobbly" and you gain weight even after eating just lettuce - could part of it also be water retention?
I guess as far as meds and weight gain, everyone is so different again. For example the SSRIs, some people gain, others don't. I have been on Prozac for years and it hasn't make me gain any weight, actually I am rather underweight.
