Re: MILNACIPRAN (Ixel/Oxitriptan/Dalcipran/Toledo

In reply to MILNACIPRAN (Ixel/Oxitriptan/Dalcipran/Toledomin), posted by Lilith on November 13, 2004, at 13:13:47

I beg pardon if I mislead...Milnacipran isn't exactly "pending approval" in the U.S., but it looks very promising considering it has made it to a 2nd round of Phase III clinical trials. I also just realized this week that this includes ALL of North America--the U.S. AND Canada--so my plan to acquire some from Canada just blew out the window.

Plan B: I'm going to mail order from Great Britain, and my psychopharmacologist is willing to manage and monitor. "I'll be back..."

Meanwhile, I thank everyone for his/her responses and feedback. When sharing, I always keep in mind that each person is a unique individual with unique biochemistry and, therefor, experience unique responses to medications. Since there is no cure for my illness, I can only strive for the best possible balance. And folks, this is written by someone with a VERY strong aversion to Pollyanna types on even a GOOD day.
