I am considering switching from Lexapro (8 weeks with lillte improvement to depression and anxiety) to Effexor, but after reading the posts am having second thoughts. I had been on Paxil for a good nine years, then got off last spring and was hit with depression this summer that did not respond to resumption of Paxil. Tried Wellbutrin first (made me anxious) then Lex. Another family member has done very well on Effexor so I thought why not?
Thoughts.
