I was only able to tolerate it for about a week because it made me so sleepy and also gave me insomnia. Some studies indicate that it may have a secondary dopaminergic effect. I don't think I really gave it enough of a chance myself, but it wound up being a relatively expensive drug on my new health plan ($50/month copay), so perhaps it's just as well.
