Semi-Immunity to Serotonin Syndrome????

Posted by ace on October 1, 2004, at 23:54:47

Guys, I have realise I have taken a lot of no-nos with Nardil, which are ment to cause serotonin syndrome

ie
Nardil + High dose Lithium (ie 1.250mg)
Nardil + Remeron 30mg
Nardil + Nortriptyline 50mg
Nardil + Tramadol 150mg
some more i forget.

I even switched from Anafranil to Nardil after a two day washout, and only suffered a very mild serotonin syndrome....

I feel its all the more reason Amitriptyline will be safe...

And Ive now seen quite a few trials of it combine with MAOI, mostly Parnate, with no probs....

Amitriptyline has both AD and anti-ocd properties

tell me what u think!

ace
Nardil- 60
Zyprexa 2.5
Neurontin 900mg
Xanax 2-3mg
