Anyone on Trileptal?

Is anyone here on Trileptal?
I have been on it for 1 year now and I don't know if it's working or not. I am a bit confused about its purpose first of all. I was told it was for panic disorder, if that's true, it hasn't helped at all. I just started taking Klonopin a month ago because my anxiety and panics have skyrocketed. Why would my dr. keep me on Trileptal? Does anyone have any info? I would really appreciate it.
