First, I am on 4-5mg of Ativan a day for GAD. My doc wants me to switch to Xanax. Do you think the Xanax is better for the anxiety? Is there a time of adjustment? The other time I took Xanax I felt dopey. Is there a chance of siezures by making this switch without a taper of the Ativan? SHould I start by taking a low dose of both? Lastly, could I withdraw from the Ativan by just making the switch over? SOrry for so many questions and thanks in advance for any replies. All the best
