Hi Iris,
Well now I am on 40mg of Seroxat which is definately helping with the anxiety and has taken the really strong urges to just end it all, infact sometimes I feel quite good on it but am always painfully aware if I skip a dose I start turning back into "Cinderella, Dr Jeckyll or is it Mr Hyde or Ursula Andress in that film "she" where she starts to age dramatically until she is just a pile of dust.
The Thing is (and this must sound ungrateful" I've never felt as good as I did when I used to take 20mg of Zyprexa and I am still hankering after that feeling. I mean now I feel perfectly capable at work, can talk to people and flirt all the time (which is something I never used to do) but I still don't really feel like myself. I still tire very easily and always sort of feel relieved when the day is over and have problems getting up in the morning.
Still I am no way as bad as I was two years ago, that was absolutely horrendous. It was awful and I don't ever want to feel like that again!
I'm sorry to hear about your instisitial cystisis (can't remember how to spell it) it's strange but my mum has been having really bad problems and she recently discovered that that is what she probably has too. It's not well heard of here in the UK.
What is your diagnosis and have you not found any antidepressants to help you yet? You say the Amisulpride is helping as do the other drugs (well if they must if they help you stop wanting to commit suicide" but it sounds to me as though you definately haven't found that something that will make you feel "right" again.
Have you ever found a drug that has really helped you? Have you tried Zyprexa 10mg, I swear by that if all else fails.
Denise
