Hi:
I recall you were on 'high dosage' of the Effexor. Without the pdoc.'s recommendation/suggestion, you did stop this 'potent' med. might be 'question' after all?

If you have a hesitation to seek a professional/medical help immediately, then first, try to get back on Effexor with VERY miniscule dosage, like 3.75 mg. by cutting one pill to see whether or not it works. This is just my suggestion, ... who knows? You may have other 'physical problem,' not because of a withdrawal symptom from the med.

Normally, when I started on Lithium, I got this problem, ... but went away within a few to several days. Two months seems to me awful long time. Furthermore, I never heard/read this problem occurs due to 'med. discontinuation,' ... rather when you are *on* the med. Then, it can be more likely a physical problem? But, ... you may be afraid of the consequence which a specialist/even, G.P. may ask your past med. history, including 'Effexor?'
But, what you need to do now is to seek a professional help to solve this 'mystery.'
H.G.
