> In regards to your last post, Maximus, about racing thoughts at bedtimne being something else, They are not all bad, i just can't stop thinking about things, good OR bad, one after another, as soon as my head hits the pillow, my mind is wide awake, thinking of so many thoughts they often don't finish, and overlap one another...over the years i've kind of trained my myself to focus on a calming thought....my favorite is a "marshmellow world" hehe, where everything looks pretty much just like one giant white sheet with light outlines...just calming. my mind really becomes like a movie screen when i try and go to sleep. it's only recently where it seems a bit more intense, past couple years. thoughts? i've always thought it to be my adhd.
Hi there,
I think, even a doctor won't give you a DX via the net. However, it seems obvious to me (and others will tell..) that is a case related to anxiety. Bed, ritual, insomnia, fears, etc. 1+1 =2, isn't it? When high anxiety and/or panic occur, you may get racing heart, racing thoughts, etc. When your're experiencing fear you're pumping adrenaline so fast that you think you'll lose your mind, but you don't. And the final signature is that you seem to be settle like a clock. Moreover your anxiety is related to an event. By the way, ADHD has nothing to do with it. It's another beast, for others events, others reasons..
Of course your pdoc has in her/his possessions some informations we don't have. It might be a great help for yourself to re-challenge your DX with your pdoc, who knows?
Hoping this helps!
