I am not a good example of what to do and what not to do with Lamictal. I have become pretty cavalier with what I do with the dosage of this drug.

I think moving in 50mg increments with Lamictal makes the most sense. If you are too low, you will find out within a week as you lose the improvement. It has been my observation of others here on Psycho-babble that there is no upper dosage at which one loses the antidepressant effect. You can't go too high except for the appearance of side effects. I think your best bet is to continue to increase the dosage as long as you continue to tolerate it. Many people really do need more than 200mg.

What are you combining it with?.
