Hi. Actually, Effexor has helped me control my cravings. I'm a recovering bulimic and have been on Effexor all together maybe 4 years.
Celexa was better in that way, though. When I first went on it I was bingeing every day. After about two weeks, the desire to binge just went away. Just stopped. Same with Paxil. Unfortunately I couldn't stay on either of them because of side effects.
