So that we don't go off on a tangent I did not mean to imply there is anything wrong with psychiatrists in the south. I simply don't live there and wouldn't know who to send her to. My point is that far too many psychiatrists are giving out far too many meds to patients they hardly know and are calling this science. The problem is in part with the paradigm (which is the main point of my article) and part with the incentive psychiatrists have to not ask too many questions about what they are doing.
