Scott,

I also have seen your name on posts dating back some time and have read many of them. I do not know your story although I have probably read some of it, even at times you directly cooresponed with me.
I admire you a lot. You have the cognitive skills to learn, understand and put to use medical knowledge. As a person I admire you for sharing in that knowledge and helping others, no doubt at times when you yourself are suffering.

I do not completely agree with you in that feeling nothing is better than something. I have opted many times to feel nothing than the pain I feel. When pain becomes the exclusive feeling baring anything else from entering your life nothing is, at least to me, quite preferable. I do not say this lightly. My most cherished quote by Kalil Gibran is that my whole life will ever be filled with tears and laughter. For without tears there could be no laughter.

Anyway you seem to have quite a good grasp on some spiritual things as well.

You have several times provided information about meds that was helpful to me.

I agree in your previous post, what else is there.

If one chose life than there really seems to be no choice but to try and improve it. At least from my own perspective. After a recently failed suicide attempt I find myself left with no choice but to "try".

Anyway I have inquired about several meds and you responded recently that you were interested in what others had to say,not much.

My pdoc only sent a script for amisulpride which I started today. How long (I saw you did a little survey) do you anticipate I might see a change? ( I a taking 50mg/day.

I am going to see him soon and get scripts for mirapex, requip and milnacipran. Depending on the result of the amisulpride I will decide what to add or try alone next.

One direct question (I implore you respond to any of this post) is that I was on amineptine for several weeks and it was probably the most mood elevating med I have ever taken. I had to discontinue it because of interstitial cystitis.
I began it 3 times since and had no response, but also no effects on my bladder. My question is then if the amisulpride has an effect should I combine it with amisulpride in the hopes it will make the amisulpride work again or should I combine it with Milnacipran as I had originally thought to do?

I understand it is just an opinion, but it will be more informed than mine.

Of course if you are not comfortable responding with answers of your own I understand.

I too hope the best for you and if there is a heaven no doubt there is a special place for you as there is here on this earth.
With gratitude,

irene
