Hey there, I've got some more information.

According to the PI, remeron has a half life of anywhere from 20-40 hours and interestingly enough it varies according to gender! The average half life for males is 26 hours, while for females its 37 hours. Based on this, I would think, in general, it would therefore be easier for females to get off this drug.

I would taper just to be safe. I'm afraid because I had to do the slowest paxil taper you have ever heard of to get off of it.

I hope I'm one of the lucky ones who is closer tothe 40 hour half life on remeron.
