Revisiting alcohol

Posted by AMD on August 4, 2004, at 21:25:08

Folks,

Question for you.

I was a pretty big binge drinker for a couple years and finally quit last year, around November, when the alcohol started worsening my depression.

Lately I've had a couple drinks -- a few glasses of wine last month, and a tiny amount over the past weekend.

Question is, if one's brain has recovered from any damage done through the binge drinking, does a tiny amount this reverse all of this progress and set you back to square one?

How about on the depression side? Does a previous drinking history make you susceptible to severe reactions to small amounts of alcohol in the future?
