I've been on Wellbutrin SR 300 mg for about 5 weeks and haven't seen an effect on my weight. Are you feeling a lot better now that you're on it - were you not eating as much before? I know how meds can make you ravenous. Lexapro did that to me at 20mg.
I'll be interested to hear what other WB users have found.

has anyone ever lost weight on the first week of starting wellbutrin, only to find your self gaining after that? im freaking out. i was doing so good for a week, now im eating like a pig.
