Well, it took me 12 weeks to adjust to effexor and feel the full benefits. I knew I was a slow learner, but apparently my whole body is. Everyone is different, but I did feel better immediately, and as I titrated up to my present dose of 150mg of the XR, it kept improving. When I got to the point where I could be motivated enough to exercise, the improvement took a quantum leap.
