hello there, chemist here...your plan (and your doctor's) is exactly what i have done on both occassions, so it's one heck of a coincidence or we've been passing each other on the way in and out of our appointments with the same doctor! if you respond as i have - both times, and no so-called ``poop out'' manifested itself (in my case) for the first go 'round, which was several years - then i ought to think you'll be pleasantly surprised. as always, best wishes, and keep those updates coming! chemist

> Hey Chemist, thanks for the response. Our goal is to hit 200 MGS of Luvox. I'm supposed to go at a rate of 50 MGs every 7 days or so, so hopefulyl that will be slow enough, and If I have problems I can slow down. One thing I'm very happy about is that Lexapro taper down was done so carefully by my PDOC that I have had little discomfort. I'm sure I may feel icky as it clears my system but at least I haven't been in total misery.

I have also recently started taking Trazodone about a week or so ago as well for sleep. So far, I really like the trazodone... except for one thing. Combined with Luvox, it's a heck of alot stronger acting!!!! For example, I took my one pill of Trazodone yesterday and within 30 minutes, I felt intoxicated! I had an elevated heart rate, and was dizzy, yet at the same VERY VERY tired (if that makes sense!)... Slept soundly (despite the overwhelming heat here in MN). What the heck?? At any rate, I can take a 1/2 tab or full tablet of Trazodone according to my PDOC... should I jsut go down to a small dose (half a tab)... i mean, I guess the feeling massively drunk was a little disconcerting AND I'm suppsoed to increase my Luvox dose over the next couple of weeks. Wno knows, maybe i won't need the Trazodone afterall... any insight as to why the trazodone would feel so much stronger... maybe it's just my imagination.
