Hi- I have been reading previous threads about Lexapro side effects. I didn't see anything that directly relates to what I'm experiencing- although it is possible I just haven't made it through all the questions.
Anyway- I just started taking Lex. It was perscribed because my doctor seems to think it will help me with Fibromyalgia, IBS, Chronic Fatigue etc. etc... Basically my body is hyper sensitive to pain and they think this could help. The problem I'm having is that I am experiencing intense anxiety attacks in the last few days. I have had them before but these are off the chart. I didn't have any the first few days I started (2.5 mg now taking 5mg)only since I moved up to 5 mg. Anyone else experience this? And, does it go away? I want to stick it out but it is hard when I feel out of control and freaking out.
