Hey,

I can somewhat relate. I'm 24 now and have had sleeping problems for many years. Tired all the time but NEVER feel refreshed. I have bveen diagnosed with anxiety and depression. The anxiety i believe but i've always been skeptical about the depression diagnosis. I mean if you feel dead tired everyday wouldn't you be depressed too?!?! Anyways I/'m at Celexa 40g now and i saw my anxiety symptoms totally decipate, whi8ch is great because i had unexplainable high blood pressure for a long time. But the sleep...well i'm still suffering but my mood has lifted but i still feel somewhat tired throughout the day. I've been on Wellbutrin 100 for about three weeks and have noticed a bit of an energy boost but in my experience Wellbutrin for most people( but not all) is not really such an effective mood elevator but a good drug to use with another ssri, for example celexa, to energize and boost the effects of the combined ssri. Oh yeah CElexa has been known to calm anxiety associated with depression and well butrin is known to energize so it is thought to compliment each other. Oh and another thing my friend is taking Zyban(which is Wellbutrin) for smoking and he is up to 300. He sez that as far as mood elevation and energy he only felt it at that dose. But you do get mood swings though.
>Those symptoms your having with no appetite sleep difficulties, thirsty - i would say the most common side effects from wellbutrin. Dont expect to see a big change after three weeks on 150 - the most common dose is 300 but if you really want to see what that dose can do - give it another week. Also it would also be good to double your dose because since WB doesn't work on serotonin - its much easier and quicker to get off then an ssri.
WOW your lucky im so bored at work, or else i wouldn't have typed so much:)

Good luck
Where do I start?
>
> I'm on 50mg. of Topamax for Migraines.
> 150mg. of Wellbutrin XL for depression, although my Dr. thinks I would do better @ 300mg.
> I'm also on Chromagen, a high-dose Iron supplement for anemia.
> Plus, my wonderful Seasonale birth control pill.
>
> I feel like a total drug addict. I'm constantly taking pills. And just wanted to know if anybody was also taking a combinations of these drugs also.

> I don't have 1/2 the # of migraines I used to have. YEA!! Been on topamax since Feb. 2004.
> But the depression (which I feel is mild to moderate-depending on the day) is not getting better. I started on Wellbutrin only 3 weeks ago. Same as the Chromagen. I guess another question would be...How long does the WB take? When will I start to feel better?
>
> I'm constantly tired-but yet I can't actually sleep, always thirsty, no appetite what-so-ever. And this is MAJOR coming from a 100% sugar addict! No motivation, just want to stay in bed all day. I'm ignoring my friends, ignoring my husband...sniff sniff. Crap! I'm not here for sympathy at all.
>
> I thought I might be have a Hypothyroid, but when I was tested it came back @ 136. I was told to take Milk Thistle. Geez....another pill???!!!!

> I'm just confused that my Dr. (who has been rated 1 of the best in the city for years) would prescribe all these pills for me.
