Having been on Klonopin for well over one year, starting out at 4 mg. a day, I can say that I tapered very very gradually and found the substitution of equivalent dosages of Valium to be the best and easiest method to get off the last tidbits.
Personally, I wouldn't take ANY chances on mixing alcohol with a benzo. There are all sorts of risks that people like to take in life, but this is one that I wouldn't mess around with.
