I am thinking he may have been "over medicated" having had a major episode, he needed a high dosage to "bring him around". Perhaps now he can get by on 10 or 15mg for maintainance dosage. Also some of the symptoms were not relieved until he reached the proper Zoloft dosage of 75mg. 100 mg was too much and made him groggy and sleepy. We have not reduced the Zoloft amount and don't have any plans to. We mainly wanted to reduce the Zyprexa because he has gained so much weight on it.
