I'm a full time student and have jobs in the holidays. I haven't missed or failed anything due to depression or meds, but it does make things so much harder. I guess it just depends on the type of depressive you are. I tend to be able to appear normal to everyone else, have hobbies, work and play hard, but it is all a front and I think of suicide every minute of the day. For other people they find it impossible to get out of bed or communicate with others - each of us is individual.
