I had the same response to concerta. I was on a higher dose though. It is so time released that it never seemed to kick in for me. Maybe that dose isn't strong enough to counter act the sleepyness from the other meds you are taking. My pdoc lets me take one 12.5 adderall with my dexedrine spansules. That seems to be the only way I can get time release medication to work for me. I am not a ritalin fan at all and I believe that is what concerta is made up of. Hope this helps
