taking meds on an irregular schedule bad for you?

Posted by SDA on June 1, 2004, at 14:51:35

My sleep pattern is pretty screwed up now. I've been going to bed around 4AM, and waking up in the late afternoon. Sometimes I make an effort to correct this by forcing myself up early or pulling an allnighter, but it seems to be almost ingrained in me now.

I take my meds (zoloft, but currently tapering down) before I go to bed, but this time varries considerably.

My question is if taking meds inconsitantly on a poor sleep cycle is harmful to you, or has an impact on how effective they are.

Thanks.
