selegiline overstimulation-why?what is the reason? » LastDyingWish

Yes, I found out from the archives that it mostly causes overstimulation/anxiety. What would be the reason of it?

Increased cortisol?
Decrease in GABA levels/increase in GABA transmission?
Decrease in D2/D3 agonism/antagonism or maybe decrease in dopamine transmission?
The l-methamphetamine and l-amphetamine metabolites?
Other reasons?
