I read Keppra is supposed to be the only stimulating one, but it's not really a first line mood stabilizer. I am personally against antipsychotics for maintenance, but Abilify is supposed to not be as sedating {which in turn affects what you are concerned about}.

Check out http://www.crazymeds.org for detailed info.

I take Trileptal, and it has the best side effect profile for major bipolar anticonvulsants {or perhaps for all of them}.

If Prozac is stimulating for you than Symbyax might be a good choice but that would be balanced out by the Zyprexa in it {Symbyax is a combination of Prozac and Zyprexa in one pill and designed for bipolar depression specifically.}

You could have Provigil added to your bipolar drug like I have and many others. Provigil is also added to antipsychotics and antidepressants for the concerns you have.

Good luck!
