It may be great for GAD (a disorder of far lesser severity IMO, and which responds to a far greater variety of medications: SSRI's, TCA's, Effexor; even the much maligned Buspar has performed better than placebo for this disorder.) I am skeptical that it will offer anything other than spotty results for social phobia.
