Well, I just had what my doctor believed was a paradoxical reaction to my depakote. I was on it at a rather low dose (750mg) and about two-three days after I started it I had my most manic episode yet. Was a couple days of pure hell, luckily it seemed to go away as I started to lower my dose per my doctor's orders. This was my first time having an episode of such severity (As in I've never had a full blown manic episode like that, only pretty nice hypomania), so my doctor is pretty sure that it was from the medicine.
