I have a suggestion but I don't know if it will work. You should talk to your doctor and tell him that you feel you should build up to 150 mg over a period of time starting at 37.5 mg the first week and 75 mg the second week. Tell him this is based on credible research you have seen on the Internet. If he agrees ask him if he can give you a free sample starter kit. The drug companies usually give the doctors free samples to give to the patients. My doctor gave me a starter kit and several more free sample packets of 75 mg which lasted for a few weeks. Until the doctor knows how you are reacting to the medication he shouldn't be giving you such a high dose. High blood pressure is just one of the serious side effects. Good luck! I feel for you. This stuff isn't cheap especially if you don't have insurance.
