you shouldn't have a problem skipping a day of the effexor. two days will probably give you some slight withdrawl effects. it's all individual.
I'd try the one day holiday and see how it goes. As a second option, consider halfing the dose the first day and then skipping it the second.
For me, skipping a dose for a day or two did bring about a moderate increase in libido and less sexual dysfunction, but the effect wasn't drastic.
Other options would be augmentors...wellbutrin, yohimbine, or periactin.
