chemist here....could be the latter, i've had some of that myself. don't know if it's the crash following the initial stimulation, but remember, dexedrine has a pretty short half-life (12 hours) and a time to peak plasma concentration of around 2 hours, so what you are saying makes sense in re: the 3 hour fog....thanks for your input, and all the best, chemist
