In my knowledge, if M.S.s stated above didn't help you, ... then most likely even other 'good/first-lined' Depakote does NOT do the job, either. Long ago, ... at the beginning when I started to join 'Support Group' like here, 'Psycho.Bubble,' I still recall one of Bp'ers said that she does not stand any of AD meds., however other alternative meds. lifted her depressive side of her Bp., ... just can't remember the name of those meds. she was on, due to my 'inexperience' on psycho.meds. on those days, back 5-6 years ago. Then, hopefully you're able to find the right med. combo. in the near future as seeing/believing your pdoc. is one of the best pdocs. who is able to rx those 'potent' APs/med. combo. with a good knowledge and expertise on all psycho. meds. Try to keep a good communication with him/her. For me, it took almost 2 years to find the right med. combo. During that time, I did all of those experience describing in your first post, 'crying spell, rage, hyper and all Bp symptoms to endure.' At least, you're not only one to have those symptoms during/before the right med.combo. search.
