Hello,

I don't have any experience with Effexor, but I was Prozac for 2 years and found it to be a very helpful medication. It did wonders for my depression and for me Prozac was very easy to stop taking. It stays in your system for a long time, so you don't go through withdrawl if you stop taking it cold turkey.
