Thanks, I am not totally against Zyprexa. I just think you really have to constantly evaluate its effectiveness and a low dose may be the best thing. You could probably see the beneift against this problem over time, so you may have to stick with this, but if the side effects become unbearable, there are less sedating antipsychotics. Abilify is supposed to be an activating one in fact. I have been on Risperdal, and I don't think it made me as fuzzy as Zyprexa, but I was not on it for long. It also really worked on the symptoms I had at the time actually.

One week or two weeks for a problem that is both cognitive and biochem is not enough to see if a dose is good enough I think, so try to go slow.

As far as all or nothing thinking, I think that is also part of a depression issue. If you have beliefs that have you consider traits or problems you have to be permanent and pervasive then you become helpless {Dr. Martin Seligman}.
